Compliance Specialist [Direct]

Location - Mesa, AZ

JOB DUTIES:  This position will serve as the primary resource to lead and direct the planning, organization and implementation of
compliance policies, procedures, training and auditing for the following regulatory areas (other areas may be added):
o  Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
o  Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
o  BATF, Import and Commerce in Firearms, Ammunition and Explosives Regulations
o  U.S. Customs Regulations


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

o  Plan, establish, and maintain programs, policies, procedures and practices to ensure that business and operational activities
    are in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
o  Prepares applications and oversees all company and facility licensing, registration, permits and renewals are maintained
    current and in compliance with requirements.
o  Primary responsibility as the Company's Empowered Official for the preparation, compliance and submittal of export and
    import licenses, technical assistance agreements, manufacturing license agreements, and offshore procurement and
    distribution agreements to DDTC. Maintain related records, correspondence, logs and documentation. Review, administer,
    and manage all export and import transactions and activities.
o  Assist in the establishment, maintenance and audit of related administrative, production, and shipping records, data bases and
    systems.
o  Research, monitor, analyze, and interpret statutes and regulations, and provide compliance and regulatory support to all areas
    of the organization. Analyze and interpret new laws and regulations and implement update internal policies, procedures and
    practices for the affected areas within the organization.
o  Conduct internal periodic regulatory reviews and compliance audits.
o  Coordinate with federal, state and local governmental agencies and other organizations in matters related to statutory and
    regulatory requirements. Interface with government agents, auditors, officers, and representatives pertaining to regulatory
    requirements.
o  Interface with outside legal counsel on significant regulatory issues.
o  Interface with all levels of organizational personnel, customers, suppliers and agencies.
o  Provide internal compliance training to Company departments and employees in a multi-facility and multi-state organization.
o  Provide assistance with international regulatory and contracting matters.


REQUIRE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

o  B.S. degree in business, law or equivalent level of relevant experience
o  7 years related experience, including a minimum of 5 years of import/export compliance accountability in industry or government.
o  Extensive knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and BATF statutory and regulatory requirements, standards, and practices. Ability to research
    and interpret related statutes, regulations, and publications. Understanding of related DOD and DOT regulations, policies and
    requirements, i.e. DSS, DSCA, NISPOM, FAR, DFAR, etc.
o  DOD security clearance required
o  Knowledge of international contracting and subcontracting requirements and processes, i.e. DSCA requirements and regulations,
    FMS/FMF/DCC contracting processes, ICA and offset requirements, etc.
o  Strong conviction for compliance and business ethics
o  Ability to obtain ATF approval to work with our product

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

o  Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written). Ability to write legal documents and agreements.
o  Possess good computer skills and knowledge (MS Office, D-Trade, etc.)
o  Experience in Defense/Aerospace industry highly preferred

Drafting Engineer

Location - Mesa, AZ

JOB DUTIES:  Design and create all necessary parts and assembly models, drawings and details for specific projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

o  Check product documentation that they comply with customer standards and requirements.
o  Use full capabilities of CAD system features, (2D, 3D and Solid Models), mass properties and cross platform data transfers.
o  Work with Design Engineers/Supervisor to ensure proper form fit and function of the system.
o  When assigned a project, be the single point contact for the Design Engineering Group.
o  Write up and process ECO changes.  Perform drawing checking.

REQUIRE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

o  High school diploma or GED
o  Proficient using Solid Edge CAD, Version 20 or higher, traditional modeling
o  Must have experience with Solid Edge "Family of Parts" and Family of Assemblies".
o  Mechanical or Tool Design background and experience.
o  Knowledge and experience of applying GD & T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
o  Ability to obtain ATF approval to deal with product.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

o  Mechanical Design Degree preferred.

Machinist
Location - Mesa, AZ

JOB DUTIES: Set up and operation of machine tools such as lathes, mills and grinders to make metal parts, mechanisms, tools and machines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

o  Proven machinist skills, including logical thinking, mechanically inclined, neat, organized and productive.
o  Ideal candidate requires minimal direct supervision, is a self-starter and can communicate and work well with lead person, peers and
    engineers in a 4-person shop.
o  Requires knowledge and experience with set-up and production of parts and tooling on manual mills, manual lathes, and performing single
    point threading on lathe.
o  Manual grinders, including grinding of own cutting tools.
o  Some ability to design basic parts and tools is preferred.
o  Good math skills and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing skills are required.
o  Responsible for daily clean-up of work space and machines.
o  Some overtime work may be required during busy periods.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

o  High school diploma or GED required
o  Solid machinist math skills
o  2 years minimum experience in a shop environment
o  Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing experience
o  Manual grinders - including own cutting tools
o  Some direct experience with programming CNC mills and lathes
o  Ability to obtain approval through ATF to handle product

Processor
Location - Mesa, AZ

JOB DUTIES: Perform a variety of repetitive assembly and/or chemical processing operations which may include chemical weigh-out, mixing, casting,
hardware unpacking, assembly, packaging and inventory control of hardware and chemicals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

o  Places parts in relation to each other.
o  Operates and tends automatic and manual processing equipment.
o  Uses a variety of hand and power tools, jigs and fixtures.
o  Works at different work stations as production needs require.
o  Perform general daily housekeeping and cleaning of equipment and area to ensure safe working conditions.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

o  High school diploma or GED required
o  Up to 2 years minimum related experience required
o  Previous production/assembly/manufacturing experience.
o  Read and understand manufacturing instructions and perform arithmetic at an eighth grade level.
o  Exert 20 lbs. of force frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
o  Ability to work in weathered conditions.
o  Able to wear a respirator.
o  Ability to obtain approval through ATF to handle product

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

o  Blueprint reading experience a plusl
