API Inspector: 510, 570, 653 - CA*
JOB DUTIES:   Inspect and insure that weld performed on pipeline or other equipment are implemented as required in the contract specifications.
Responsible for overseeing the quality assurance/quality control on behalf of client.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o  Perform internal and external inspections to determine if a weldment or equipment meets the acceptance criteria of a specific code,
    standard or document.
o  Conduct inspections on equipment at scheduled intervals to maintain the mechanical integrity of the fixed equipment of the facility.
o  Properly interpret regulations, codes and industry standards.
o  Use a computer to compile and submit daily reports and inspection reports, as well as for inter-office communications.
o  Compile and submit completed inspection report in a timely manner.
o  Pay attention to detail and be capable of recommending and approving repairs as well as performing visual inspection of completed work.
o  Study equipment leak regulations applicable to location and customer base.
o  Drive a vehicle safely in extremely hazardous conditions.
o  Be proficient with standard computer software (such as MS Word and Excel) and be able to write detailed inspection and shutdown reports
    while maintaining an organized system of files.
o  Maintain a positive relationship between client, facility and customer; and promote a positive attitude towards coworkers.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
o  2 years experience in weld inspection related activities (QC, NDT, etc.)
o  Current American Petroleum Institute (API) API-653, API 510, or API-570 certification; or satisfactory completion of a Visual/Mechanical
    Inspection training course approved by client (preferred).
o  Certification as an Inspector required in most cases (or equivalent approved by client).  Extensive practical experience required.
o  Extensive knowledge of industry standards including AWS, ASME, API (510 & 570) a MUST; working knowledge of NDE methodologies also a plus.
o  Current Drivers License from state of residence.
o  Documentation of work experience in:
    o  Visual inspection of tanks, piping, pressure vessels, valves and pumps
    o  Performing or witnessing and documenting pressure testing activities (to include hydrostatic and pneumatic tests) preferred.
    o  Pit depth measurement or other dimension verifications using precision measuring equipment and recording results preferred.
    o  Inspection/verification of structural or flanged piping bolt up, tensioning and verification activities preferred.
o  Must be able to travel out of town 50% or more of the time and work various shifts.
o  Ability to meet company certification standards.

Field Technician - CA
JOB DUTIES:  Perform physical tasks relating to testing of AC Distribution Electrical Apparatus.  Perform other assignments as required.  
Position requires minimum supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o  Perform tests, inspections, service, maintenance and repair on the following equipment: 
    o  low and medium voltage circuit breakers and switchboards, 
    o  ground systems, 
    o  motor control centers, 
    o  low and medium voltage cables, 
    o  two-winding transformers.  
o  Perform tasks related to mechanical repair of a variety of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.  
o  Perform troubleshooting, repair and upgrade of electrical control systems and other similar work related to control systems.

REQUIRE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
o  Graduate of applicable Electrical Technical School or Military equivalent and one year minimum electrical rated work experience.  
o  Must have Certified Electrical Worker Card in current standing with the state of California.  
o  Basic computer skills related to the operating systems, and specific computer tasks including editing, formatting and using templates in Microsoft Word 
    and Microsoft Excel, use of Internet for standards/products/manufacturer research.  The ability to adapt quickly to new programs necessary to operate 
    test equipment or equipment under test.
o  Ability to read and write technical documents/information.  
o  Apply terms, definitions, and concepts from mechanics, electricity, heat and chemistry.  (Solutions may involve simple formulas found in basics physics 
    texts but will not involve algebraic manipulation or trigonometry.)
o  Must be available for out-of-town work possibly several weeks in duration.  Work may include nights, weekends and holiday.  Outage work may involve 
    long hours.  Must be available for call outs 24x7.  
o  Must be familiar with and be able to use a wide variety of basic hand tools, including electrical multi-meters, ammeters and insulation resistance meters.

Growth Technician-Aixtron - Phoenix, AZ
JOB DUTIES:  Working in a cleanroom environment in full bunny suit attire interacting closely with the Process Engineering Department.  
The Growth Technician is responsible for carrying out the manufacturing process on the Epitaxial reactors. This process is known as Metal Organic 
Vapor Phase Epitaxy (MOVPE) and consists of the deposition of thin layers of semiconductor material on Gallium Arsenide substrates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The manufacturing process encompasses:
o  preparation and operation of all Epitaxial reactors
o  entering data into a manufacturing database
o  loading substrates into reactor
o  non-destructive Epi wafer characterization
o  performing basic-advanced reactor trouble-shooting activities.
Other duties will include:
o  Check out supplies and starting materials from the stock room for the gown room and reactor and maintenance work areas.
o  Empty hazardous and non-hazardous trashcans in the reactor and maintenance work areas.
o  Periodic cleaning of the reactor and maintenance work areas, loading recipes from disk and other tasks as requested.
o  Will handle a range of semiconductor chemicals and gases.
o  Possible shift ERT participation.

REQUIRE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
o  2 -year technical degree and/or recent equivalent work experience in a cleanroom environment within the semiconductor industry being
    responsible for the manufacturing process.
o  Good oral and written communication
o  Basic computer operating skills using Microsoft programs with ability to enter data into a database
o  Effective time management skills
o  Ability to perform basic trouble-shooting activities
o  Must be available to work over-time (OT) occasionally.
o  Must wear clean room gown, mask, gloves, booties, etc. a half mask respirator, and an open circuit SCBA equipment in some maintenance activities.
o  Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
o  May require membership in the Emergency Response Team (ERT).

JOB DUTIES:  To be a Certified Level II in accordance with ASNT-SNT-TC-1A and written Practice.
Also set-up, evaluate and interpret according to the code of construction of piping, vessles, tanks, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Radiography Technician Assistant - CA
JOB DUTIES:  Assist the Radiography Technician in providing Radiography inspection services.  This will include using,
supplying or holding materials or tools and cleaning work area and equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB DUTIES:  Certified at Level I and will progress to a Certified Level II.  Perform nondestructive ultrasonic examinations
on various metal materials and forge products used in oil and petroleum markets.  Operate automated immersion scanning
equipment to check materials or product requirements against standards, procedures and customer specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o  Plan the methods and determine the type of ultrasonic equipment required to inspect the internal structure of ferrous and
    nonferrous metal materials, machined parts and diffusion bonded parts, assemblies and weldments composed of a variety of
    materials in structures subject to high stress, temperature or pressure.
o  Set up and operate immersion and contact ultrasonic equipment for inspection of machined and detail parts, assemblies, weldments
    and materials, including those having high stress, temperature or pressure limits to exacting tolerances where accessibility requires
    the use of special probes and variations in services, thickness or materials result in critical acoustical interference.
o  Follow established manuals and standards and/or develop procedures when standards are not specified.  Prepare materials, parts
    and assemblies for inspection.  Improvise and adapt equipment.
o  Monitor equipment and make adjustments during inspection to compensate for non-relevant ultrasonic signals.  Adjust sensitivity
    and attenuation controls within marginal material responses and equipment operating conditions.  Set up and operate peripheral
    computer controlled equipment to input ultrasonic base line data in conjunction with ultrasonic equipment operations.  Under direction
    from and contour wedges and shoes or other required components for proper application of ultrasonic equipment.
o  Inspect and interpret readings on oscilloscope screens or ultrasonic recordings for machined parts, diffusion bonded parts, assemblies
    and weldments including those having high stress, temperatures or pressure limits.  Analyze and interpret indications of flaws, defects,
    normal discontinuities or interference.  Detect and identify all flaws and defects including exact size and shape, mark location of defects
    on material, parts and assemblies and determine acceptability.
o  Record inspection results manually or with the aid of a computer or computer based systems.
o  Accept or reject items in compliance with fracture control specifications or other critical customer requirements.  Order rejection and
    rework or sign off items as acceptable.
o  Perform tasks to the extent certified and qualified in.
o  Set up and calibrate equipment.
o  Conduct tests with Ultrasonic Testing equipment.
o  Conduct tests in the basic NDT methods to the extent certified and qualified in.
o  Interpret, evaluate and document results through formal reports.
o  Direct the work of trainees and Level I personnel in the method(s) in which certified and capable of.
o  Provide direction and guidance with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the employer.
o  Write procedures, and/or develop inspection techniques, which must be approved by a Level III.
o  Assist account mangers with quoting projects as needed.
o  Responsible for all paperwork to the completed in a timely manner.
o  Maintain and promote a positive attitude toward Assistant and Customers.
o  Travel will be required 50% to 75% of time.

Senior Field Technician - CA
 
JOB DUTIES:  Troubleshoot, test, and inspect complex electrical systems, and moderately complex relay calibration and power metering.  Operate all 
types of test equipment.  May be mentally demanding, requiring concentration on several projects and activities at once.  
Position requires limited/minimum supervision.  Position also may require the supervision of others.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o  Perform instrument transformer tests, power transformer testing, automatic transfer switch troubleshooting, generator testing, 
    power meter calibration and high voltage circuit breaker testing.
o  Troubleshooting capabilities of complex electrical systems, relay calibration, use of load and power quality recording instrumentation, 
    infrared scanners, medium voltage breaker and switchgear testing.
o  Test and troubleshoot complex electrical systems, moderately complex relay systems and power metering.
o  Perform start-up services on switchgear up through the 230 kV class including but not limited to functional tripping and verification over 
    overall installation.
o  Maintain strong client relationships, prepare large project estimates, expand project work scopes, and assist in negotiating extra charges.
o  Sales Support: Ability to perform all functions pertaining to a written job proposal to a client, estimate of labor-hours and expenses, and 
    walk-through customer site.

REQUIRE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
o  Graduate of applicable Electrical Technical School or Military equivalent and five year minimum electrical rated work experience.
o  Strong computer skills related to the operating systems, and specific computer tasks including editing, formatting and using templates in 
    Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, use of Internet for standards/products/manufacturer research.  The operation of software programs 
    necessary to operate test equipment or equipment under test.
o  Strong background and experience in most types of switchgear testing through the 230 kV class.  
o  Good theoretical understanding of electrical power systems, and good aptitude for problem evaluation.  
o  Knowledge of InterNational Electrical Testing Association recommendations and specifications.
o  Complete projects consistently on budget and at a reasonable contribution.  
o  Able to write detailed reports and process project billing with few changes.  
o  Communicate effectively, writing and verbally, with clients and peers.  
o  Good judgment, dependable, responsible for management of large projects that require good supervisory and organizational skills.
